I've just found out that I will be attending a meeting in Des Moines IA during 22 - 27 June this summer. Has anyone had any experience with parks up there they are willing to recommend? I'll probably leave the TOAD at home and just travel with the Bus and the MC in the back as it's a MC rally. Anywhere near Urbandale or the NW corner of Des Moines would be ideal.

Any Ideas anyone?

There is a huge COE lake and several cg's I think Saylorville Lake (?). Even better if you have a sr pass = 50% off! Cottonwood a mere $50/night....us old folks are headed to Bob Shetler Rec Area for $10 per with 50 amp. Enjoy your trip we are going in May.

Don't know about camping but you NEED to go to the Machine Shed for breakfast at least once( Exit 125 off I-35). Be sure to get the 3lb cinnamon roll. The food is amazing!
