yes and yes
on mine the lower outside slide gap i place a piece of pipe insulation squeezed into the gap to slow some drafts when the wind BLOWS.
inside i use foam pieces( from a window a/c foam insulation kit), to take up the gap at the lower edges of the slide where air tends to somehow sneak in
the flush slides are big air hogs
the edges tend t to be not 100% air tight and i squeeze apiece of foam down in the gap after the slide is extended, takes only a few seconds but sure does help the breeeeeeeezes.
also if you have the swere hose connected..... the air will blow up around the hose and you can feel it in the heater vents since one vent blows hot air into tanks bay to keep em warm
there i wrapped a piece of old wool blanket around the hose to seal off the air gap, its expendable if somehow it got contaminated
we have had 25 steady with 30-35 gusts all day...........
