Hello-- does anyone out there know if there is a way to open flush valve without having water pressure to the system? With power on and pushing any one of the three buttons there is a noise but no opening of the flush valve. We would like to be able to use toilet in cold weather by putting RV antifreeze in black water tank , same as we did with our old 98 disc . We do this for afew days while travelling from Canada to the warmer south. I've got a call into our dealer in RedDeer but haven't heard back yet.

Thanks for your help.

Tim-- I have found out you need water pressure to the system for it to flush, so the dealer here has suggested hooking up the winterizing suction hose from the water pump to a container of antifreeze in basement and pressure system that way. Should work without too much trouble, I think.

To; Gknott;

Yuo did not mention what brand toilet you have.

I have a thetford ARIA , electric flush and I hold down both flush buttons at same time and this opens the toilet to the tank.

Hope this info helps

I think ours is probably the same and I will sure try this before doing the other idea.It may take a week before I get to it though. Thanks for the info.
