F53 Heater & A/C Controls

The heater & a/c control module loosened up and was falling out of the dash in my '05 Damon Daybreak (F53) I was also having trouble with the a/c toggling on and off that seemed to be related to vacuum.

I pulled the dash panel back and got to the mounting nuts for the module, and while doing so, saw that there was a vacuum port with no vacuum line connected. Ahh, I found the problem with the a/c! Well, I found the problem but the solution proved to be elusive. So here's the question: what is missing? I can't find a vacuum line anywhere in the vicinity, but noted that another vacuum port on the module is capped. Does someone know whether I should be looking further for a line? Or did a little black rubber cap fall off and get vacuumed up?

Thanks for the help.

Ted

I'd cap the port and then see what does not work. If everything works then assume the cap fell off and got vacuumed.
