Front wheel well panels

The front wheel well panels cracked on my 2008 Challenger 376. It's a Workhorse chassis. The passenger side cracked about 24 inches along the storage bin and drivers' side cracked about six inches in the same area.
Anyone else experience this problem? I talked to tech support at Thor and was told "first they heard of" and no help with replacement since I'm the second owner. Go Figure.

Very seldom do warranties cover a second owner. Another reason to buy new I guess.

We have a 2008 Challenger 378 it cracked last year over the drivers front wheel. The crack is vertical and about 4" long from the top seam of fender down. I will fix it with a fiberglass repair kit. Unless someone has a better idea.

Check with Thor first, if you're the original owner they may send free replacements.
Also my panels are made of plastic not fiberglass. I think if you run a bead of Bondo down the inside seam it will seal the crack and reinforce the fault.

Thanks ElCajonee I never thought of using body filler, I already bought the fiberglass repair kit but if it happens again I try Bondo.

Had the same problem with my 2008 371. Damon, at the time, never heard of the problem either. Just like the leatherette chair issue. JM2¢...

My question is how did you get the top screws in the panel out? They are put in from the top down and there is only a 1" clearence above the screw head to work with!! I can't see any way to get at the screw heads...

My cracks were in the corner of the panel next to the storage compartments. I had a body shop do fiberglass repair, with a stiffener, on the inside corner in place. The little bit of resin the leaked thru, sealed the external crack well enough, that after trimming I chose not to repaint. It is hard to see it. JM2¢...
