When underway, it is difficult to tell if the generator really started when I push the button.
Sometimes the generator will crank but doesn't start but the light on the remote start switch on the dash will light as if the generator is running even when it is not.
I have been mulling this over for some time and I think either the switch light should be rewired to show the true state of the generator or I need to install some kind of dim ac light that will light when there is power at AC outlets.

Any Ideas?

Did you find one that doesn't have an electric eye? These seem to be getting rarer all the time.

I put a 6-outlet converter into a duplex outlet that is not on the inverter (it has two 3-prong ends on the back, plugs in & a screw connects the 6-way to the ground on the duplexer). It has a red LED on the top. You can find them @ HD, Lowes, Harbor Freight, for about $6.

The 6-way is a great way to expand an outlet where all your charging devices go for cell phone, bluetooth, blah, blah, blah, i.e. stuff that won't overload the outlet.
