I'm new to RVing and new to this forum. We receltly (Jan 12, 2010) purchased a 2006 Damon Challenger. This is our first RV or any type.

We are excited and also a bit nervous out the knowns we will experience.

On our first test trip I noticed that the cap that covers the exit hole in the bin where the sewer hose comes from the outside to the sewer dump fitting is missing. The flange that covers the hole is threaded and measures 5 inches in diameter. The cap would need to be threaded (male).

I looked at Lowes, Home Depot and True Value as well as some local PVC dealers and cannot find a cap that is 5 inch in diameter.

I've also looked at alot of links on the internet, both dealers in PVC fittings and RV parts dealer and cannot find a 5 inch cap.

Any ideas... I know this is a minor item, but I rather not have cats and other critters taking up residence in the basement.

Thanks,

Ferd Koehn

Try a motorhome dealer. I think that threaded "plug" is fairly common. Until you cna find one used a sponge to fill the hole. good luck

You can try a plumbing supply house. They should have a cap that size. Good Luck, I'm sure you will enjoy your new Motorhome
