hooking up trickle charger

2000 Damon Intruder.Looking to hookup trickle charger to my (2) 6 volt batteries.Batteries will remain in coach . ( Positive to positive post on one batterie , negative to negative , other battery ? not sure )

As you likely know there is the positive post and negative post that your coach uses. This will show 12+ volts. Your onboard charger will charge this way and you can also. During winter storage (outside) I have always just turned off the coach power by using the disconnect and let it sit for 6 months. Never an issue. Unless this is a high end charger that can monitor the health of the batteries (usually requires separate battery connections) I would not keep them on a charger. However every month or so you could hook them up for a few hours to keep them topped off but I would not keep them on full time.
