House electrical issue 94 intruder 345b chevy p30

Does anyone know when on house batts going down the road, house lights only illuminate while braking?

Going to ask a question , just so I understand the problem your describing.

If the coach is parked , the interior lights work, but when you start the engine, the lights go out , and only come on, when the engine is running, when you apply the brakes, then when you turn the engine off, the interior light come back on.
Is this what's happening ?
Have you tested the coach batteries for being charged from the alternator while the engine is running ?

House electrical issue 94 intruder 345b chevy p30

Actually, here's what we've found.. They had a wire wires to the brake light switch, which now runs to a hot at all times.
That solved half the problem. Here is the updated problem:
Key on, all house items work (lights, power to fridge, etc). Keys off, no house power with the house switch on in both above conditions.
I have determined the solenoid that has been replaced gets power with key on, and I do not know how originally it was suppose to be wired.

Sounds like a battery disconnect solenoid , that should be getting power from a stand alone switch has been wired to an ignition feed.

Why and by whom , who knows .
Can you post a picture of the solenoid in question and may be we can help you get this straightened out.
