How is the Astoria PE Mattress?

Howdy all,
We will be picking up our Damon Astoria 3776 Thursday or Friday of this week and I wanted to start getting everything preped for move-in. Question I have is how is the mattress that comes with the Astoria? Is it at least decent? We are not big people, but I was thinking about adding a topper just to ensure it had enough thickness. (I have had Trailers that came with shoddy mattresses and this helped). Anyone have experience with this?

We have a 2005 Astoria and the mattress is wonderful. We are very pleased with it - and the Astoria as a whole. Sure wish we could get a newer one though. They are beautiful! Congratulations and happy travels.

Just picked up our Astoria PE last saturday, and took a 5 day trip.
Slept great on the mattress, with a quilted mattress pad(not thick) on top. Just a mattress pad, not a cushy topper.
Very happy with it.

Yes! We Picked up our Astoria PE tonight and the mattress seems very sturdy. We will add the topper and try it on our maiden voyage!
