I would love to be able to use mine in winter. I think it would be fine down to about 10f but it'd driving it on ice and snow is the issue.

We don't get much snow down here more ice then anything and when we do it is gone in two days. I have the heated blankets on the tanks along with side mirror defrost.

I am in Michigan, it's gets fairly bad up here with snow and ice. I don't have a heated mirror, I do miss it some times.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to put up a RV carport, or continue to look for another class A on 19.5" wheels, or class C that will fit by current under roof parking.

The Damon does not have some outside options like the TV, speakers, shower, black water tank flush that we had on our TT (we had all but no outside TV). But I do like full body paint, three bays with pass through storage, larger refrigerator, and two ACs !

I don't have all the extra equipment. Outside TV is not our thing, we don't use the TV inside. Don't have a tank flus or shower. I am only 11.6 tall but I am on 16 inch tires.

Take a close look at the paint and make sure it is not spider cracking.

I have been looking at a rv port but cant decide where to put the darn thing

For me an outside shower would be handy at times as we Kayak a lot. My 3270f is 11ft 8 inches on 19.5tires.

I use a wye connector on the water outlet with a spry hose to clean off the feet when in the sand, or dirt. I have a rubber mat that we stand on. Works good to cool off on a hot day.

Good call, we mainly stay at State parks so run off the RV water tank. Wonder could I hook something up to that. Or could put a gravity shower on a 5 gallon drum.

I stay at state parks and COEs the ones I stay at have water hookups

I carry 150 feet of hose to reach some of the connections at some of the parks. It would not be difficult to hook up a spray hose off the water pump system.

I have seen a lot folk say that Damon build quality is very poor compared to the like of Winnebago, I have never owned another rv so cannot compare.

Has anyone owned a Damon and other brands and make a conparison?

Just had a second estimate done for a RV port and WOW has the price gone up in 12 years...LOL. I'm looking at a height of 16' ( I want to allow for good air circulation above RV). 18' wide and 40' deep. Both estimates are around 4 grand without concrete. Granted that is with an extra panel on each side, heaviest gauge material, hurricane anchors, etc.

I paid about 5 grand for my current building 30' X 36' with concrete pad and built in shed.
