Igniter on Atwood Wedgewood Stove

The previous owner broke the channel for the igniter knob and epoxied it on. In removing it (not gently) DH popped the igniter inside the hole. Anyone know how to get it back where it belongs? I think it needs to be replaced anyway because it looked like the end where the knob goes had been broken (hence the epoxy) but have yet to find out how to get the stovetop off to do it.

Does anyone know how to break into this thing?? Fix one thing, break one more...

Usually the stove top lifts up to access burners, gas manifold, piezo lighter etc

Remove the grate
Then push in at the front ....top should move backwards---then lift up

Otherwise post Model.

Thank you - I'll try that. I can't find the model # - it isn't anywhere visible on the stove, oven door, or oven interior. Maybe it's outside accessible from the compartment behind the stove?
