This was a quick one. We always wanted a powered vent for the living area. I was all set to buy a Fantastic Fan but then I saw the Shurflo vent at the show in Boston.
Shurflo

I thought it was a bit quieter plus it had the ability to act as a ceiling fan with the vent shut.
The hardest part of this job was removing the old vent. I had to be very careful not to damage the roof while I removed the old sealant. Once out, the wires for the Shurflow were right there. I checked them with my meter to make shure I knew which was positive and ground. I laid butyl tape down, dropped the new vent in, screwed it down, then laid new sealant down. Done. About an hour. I did have to trim the inside trim piece about an inch and a half.

Hi Max! Actually, I'm on my way to work right now. I still have a few years yet before I can think of retiring! (I wish) I just like to tinker on my days off.
Thanks for the compliment!

Chandler
