Hey Tony!
In motion is VERY COOL!!! I have shopped for in-motion systems and read that the dome must be as level as possible because it's tracking system is moving the dish based on programming that says the SAT is at a fixed elevation from your location that only changes very slowly as you drive.
While driving, changes in the azimuth and angle of the dish are countered by the active tracking system based on accelerometers in the dome. But, if the dome is low in front/high in back - as your RV turns, to the dome, the SAT would seem to change elevation in the sky.
I know even my current roof-top crank-up (mounted on the angled roof above the doghouse) has a wedge so that the built-in elevation gauge is accurate in all 360 degrees of rotation.
Best of luck
