Hi,
I ordered a Progressive 50amp hardwired EMS. I think I've figured out how to install it. I'm wondering if any of you have installed such a beast? I guess I can't get the remote installed inside, upfront, above the entry door of my Tuscany 4076. I'm just curious as t where ya'll put yours. Maybe in the bedroom euck.

Thanks.,
Ron

I installed my remote in the bedroom. It was a easy run from electrical bay to bedroom. Glad I had my EMS two weeks ago while at a older Corps park in northern Minnesota. They had a problem with low voltage and my unit shut down twice over four days. For those who don't think a EMS system is needed be prepared for a large repair bill someday. I look at mine as just a little extra insurance. Its simply not the place you want to try and save a little money.

i installed my monitor panel in the bedroom on the access panel for the shower fittings, there is a wire chase in the forward top corner of the power cord bay, i poked the wire up through the foam and then snaked it across the area under the bed, ( remove the bed panels and its like opening up a HUGE place to squeeze your body.... I used a welding rod to push the wire to a place i could hook it form the shower access.
all that and then i found a route to put it up front in the panel over the door, but i haven't moved it yet.

but if you feel froggy the panel on the passenger side that acts as a guide for the sun screen and night shade, comes off and exposes the wires running up from the floor.

But the wire is only 14' long. will an extension work? Getting it there will be a chore I bet.

14' lead is a bit short, mine has a 50 foot cable, I am sure you get an extension made up, mine is a FAT phone cable looking job
