Damon, as part of the THOR family is not, from what I've been lead to believe, looking to file anythign but an application for building a new plant to meet the increased need. The company is perceived as STRONG and viable.
Now.. read what I just said very carefully. I did not say they ARE strong and viable, just that they are seen as such.
And in these troubling times.. Well, In these troubling times a company that is seen as being strong, a company that does not seem to be rushing to bankruptcy, Well.. They are going to be strong cause they are going to have the one thing every business needs and that is CUSTOMERS.
So it's no surprise to me that Damon is showing an increase.. If you were looking at a Fleetwood last week.. Well they just filed so you are likely going to look elsewhere, If you were looking at a Freightliner.. Again there are storm clouds, Blue Bird, Winnabago, and several others have closed plants, consolidated, or simply ceased production.
If this continues Damon may not just be the best sellign RV.. Damon coudl well end up being the ONLY RV manufacturer to survive this mess (I very seriously hope not, but when nearly every day's forum posts speak of another closing.. Well.)
And that's why Damon's sales are increasing
