Intruder roof A/C

Well, my wife and I are new to this RV thing. I’ll save our lengthy story of how we got here for another post, I do however have a question for the group from a novice.

We are now owners of a 99 Damon 349 intruder. While on the lot, with generator running, both A/C’s were functionbig well. Of course , after getting her home, I went in Generator, extended slides, turned on lights but could not get A/C to fire up. The manual showed some selector switches to manipulate when on shore power or generator. I cannot find anything that resembles what the manual shows.

Is there such switches and if so, where?

Thanks for your help!

Check the circuit breakers on the generator. One could be tripped. Reset the breaker by turning it off then on again. Do this with the A/C turned off so you don't cause arcing of the switch points.

You might also search online for a manual for your thermostat. It could need resetting, usually by pulling the fuse that protects the thermostat circuit or by turning off the house battery disconnect switch, usually near the entrance.

Is your RV a 50 amp or 30 amp unit? (50 amp shore cord has 4 prongs, 30 amp only 3)
If a 50 amp RV, check that both 50 amp breakers in the breaker panel are on.
