Wow-
DW and I just purchased our first new motorhome. We traded in our 1999 Mountain High Coachworks Residency (Class A Gasser) on a new Astoria 3776.
Almost bought the Challenger 376 2 years ago, but decided to wait until the Bunk Floorplan caught on and was offered in a DP with full body paint.
Glad I waited. We are very pleased with the apearance and ride. Basically going through everything and noting all the little items that need fixing, tweaking, or we just have questions.
Does anyone on the forum with a newer Astoria know how to turn on the fog lamps that are mounted under the generator compartment? I can't seem to find a switch that controls them. I have found a switch or two that does not seem to control anything

UCF Knight, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. Congratulations on the new Astoria. I think that on a lot of the new coaches, the fog light only comes on with the engine running and possibly even in gear. Good luck and keep us posted.

MM - Thank you for the welcome. Karma Please!
RV Wiz - Thanks for pointing that out. I was checking with the engine running. However, I was by myself, so the coach was not in gear. I'll ask the wife to help out and check that out. I appreciate the tip.

Congratulations!! We were looking at the same Astoria model but ended up going with the Mandalay Presidio 38D instead.
On the fog lamps, have you tried pulling out the light switch while it is either in the "running light" or "headlight" position?

kuldaddy is on the money, just pull the switch out when in either position. What switches have you not figured out yet?

Kuldaddy and DD - Thanks, I'll try it out, sounds like that is the piec of the puzzle I was missing.
As for the switch that I haven't figured out, I'll take a picture of it tommorrow night and post back. I'm bringing the coach home tommorrow to pack for a weekend trip.
Another thing came to mind while thinking about this weekend trip. The overnight temp is supposed to be 29F. I never thought to ask how to turn on the engine block heater. Any hints DD?
I really appresciate all the help. Who knows, maybee one day I'll know enough to answer somebody else's questions.

UCF Knight,
Glad to see you here and hope you have many happy years in your new Astoria.
Been through the loading and unloading process since childhood and it seems I can never find anything big enough carry the important junk we carefully unloaded from a smaller unit. Betty and I have an agreement, the inside is hers and the outside is mine after she gives me her approval.

Block heater switch is on the wall below the right side of the closet when facing the closet. It is a standard household style wall switch.
