Just thought I would take a minute to demonstrate the total incompentence of Customer Service with LCI Products and unfortunatly with Damon.
We have a new Tuscany.

From Day one it has never dumped the air bags while going throught the self leveling function. After two calls to Damon, two calls to the selling dealer and four phone calls to LCI help desk they finally were able to assist me in re programing the "brain box" to correctly auto level the coach. It was never properly programed at the factory. I gave LCI my last vin numbers and they should have deduced from the conversations that this was a new coach. I told them that it had air bags and still it was not until the last conversation that LCI informed me there was one last set of instructions the "brain box" needed to program the levelers. This is a very simple set of instructions if you get it right from the LCI guys. Getting this fixed with out going to a Damon or Freightliner facility took be 4 days.
Totally unaceptable from both Damon and LCI.
Regards
David

Did you do the re-programming yourself or did it require a trip to the dealer?

I did do the reprogramin by my self. I had the help of LCI but you have to be sure and let them know in no uncertain terms that you have air bags.

Cayman...understand your frustration.

We have a 2007 Astoria, but have a manual airdump which we do before we use the automatic levelers.
However every time we retract after we use the automatic function, we have to use the manual retract feature for the rear jacks to close them tight.

David,

I have an 07 DayBreak with LCI levelers, and I have found the opposite to be true. The first time I called they talked me through getting mine to reset. so I could raise a jack off the ground so that I could take it in for service at the dealership. In fact they were so much more helpful than the dealer. The dealer suggested that I get a board and try to raise the jack with leverage.

The second time I called on a Sunday and customer service isn't even open on Sunday but they do take messages. Within an hour of calling they called me back, but by then I had the jacks raised and no longer needed help, although it turned out to be a fuse I didn't know about, and taking it to the dealer cost me money.

I now right sized hex wrenches and a drill in a tool box I designated my leveler emergency box.
Now I can't get stuck. If I do I can get a hacksaw.
