Can anyone tell me where to find the breaker or fuse for the Power Gear Levelers on my 2004 Damon Challenger-Workhorse Chassis.
I leveled at a Rally this weekend and when We went to leave the display had no lights. When I released the park brake the levelers retracted o.k. I have no Idea where to start.
Thanks lyledavid

I wish I could help you. I was waiting to see if someone had the answer. I do know that the fuse box under the dash would be where I would start. Maybe, you could physically follow the wires from the control to where it goes. I'm wondering if there is an in line fuse by the relay (On the pump assy) If you go to Power Gears website they have wiring diagrams that might give you a clue as to the color of the wire you need.
If I find anything, I'll post it here.

I found this on their website
Power Gear service manual
Scroll down and you will see that the power unit has a 10 amp in line fuse...They also show that the unit won't work if the park brake is on or the shift isn't in neutral (Workhorse) or Park (Ford) They show many individual fuses on the control...

Chandler.. Thanks for the help on my leveler issue. Late at night I was trying to go through the things that could have caused the problem. I remembered that I put my lawn chairs in the basement cargo area and when I unloaded the compartment I found the chair had unplugged the semi automatic leveling control. When I called Power Gear I was told there was a plastic locating device missing.
I plugged the 4 pin connector back into the control and without the locating piece I got the plug wrong. In short The control burned , up in smoke. The new control $ 413.00 plus shipping. I called A.P I. my extended WARRANTY contract and guess what NO HELP. I have requested a refund on the remainder of the contract and will see what happens. I will post the result. I should have put that $2500.00 in the bank as some have suggested. Lyle David

Oh Lyle, that sucks! You find the problem but cause another..well, that's life. At least you found the problem. One of the best things you can do is learn to think things out and diagnose problems. Most times they're something simple and stupid. People spend a lot of money paying someone else to find a plug unplugged or a wire broken...or a valve shut. I know, I've been the person they come to.

I hope this will get fixed soon...Let us know.

Chandler
