OK I guess I found it.

This is on my 2008 Tuscanny.
What is the "unknown" light for ?
and, When on low beam only the low beam light comes on. When switched to High beam the low goes off and the High comes on.
Shouldn't both be on when high is selected?

I'm not sure what the Service light and Dock light toggle switches do. (nothing)

As you can see, there appears NOT to be any Dock light. If people are calling the backup light a dock light then I guess I have one.
Sure is a lot to learn on these rigs.

Hi Ron,

I've merged your 3 separate threads into 1, as they are all related.

I see you've found the photo posting section.

this is great
i had the same problem when we picked up our rig in april
on the fogs or inner set if you select fog lights on the DASH panel and leave the headlight switch pushed in and rotated to the head light on position the set will come on as additional driving/fogs lights, then when you select HIGH beams the one set goes off and the other will come on to help brighten the way
if you pull out the headlight switch to turn on the fog lamps it will kill the additional lamps , dont ask me why

took me a week of emails and trail and error to figure it out, as its jsut not listed in the book

as for the docking lights,
your rear reverse lights are just that, the docking lights are on the front wheel fenders, a big set of oval lights, to make em work you have to have the rig in reverse and the headlights on, and the engine running or key ON

center fog lights

the service light is a light for the mechanical bay, (the front under hood area)

it sheds a bit of light on the genny
welcome aboard to

I believe my "inside" lights next to fogs are also DRL lights. I have noticed front lights in daytime reflecting off of certain objects. Noticed in parking lot on other cars as I was negotiating the lot.

Service light: is the lamp inside the engine compartment, This lets you see (in theory) to check the oil and such (Service the engine), hence the name "Service light"

In practice. it's next to useless on most vehicles

Docking lights are for .. Well,,, Docking, they may, depending on who thought of 'em, be side lights or back up lights. Help you to back into a campsite or to hook up your towed or trailer in the dark. These are actually usefull Unlike back up lights which by law are on only when your vehicle is in reverse.. These stay on till you turn 'em off

Yes, they are daytime running lights. Come on when you put it in gear with the lights off...
