Lippert leveler reset, Challenger

Anybody know how I can reset my leveling system? I have no power to the panel no lights come on. Is there a fuse or breaker somewhere?

If you can get to the back of the panel make sure all the connections are seated or tightly connected. The vibration from travel has a way of causing them to loosen. also if this is a HWH unit try finding the main box probably in one of the lower storage compartments and checking that all conections are tight.

Can you Try calling Damon or the leveler manufacturer for information? Did you receive an owners manual with the coach? If so check for a brochure and FAQ or trouble shooting information from the company that makes the leveler.

Another option check for a company website that makes the leveling system.

I found the box and a connector for the control panel pulled out, however it pulled the connector housing from the PC board. I called Lippert and am trying to get the connector configuration from them. I already talked to somenone there and he hasnt got back to me yet. Once I talk to the right Technician the problem will be solved. Hopefully it wont take too long.
I have no idea why they mounted the box where it was with cables hanging down. I think they could have done a better job of keeping the cables out of the way.

Glad to hear you may have found the problem and hopefully you will be up and running soon.

Some not all manufacturers cut corners wherever they can obviously to save a few dollars whenever they can, however, other manufacturers use fore thought and common sense when building these coaches trying to do things right for their customers.

Don't forget to ask them for a manual if you don't have one.
I also carry a 1/2 inch reversible drill and the hex bit that is needed to manually retract them. I only used it once but it sure is nice to have it if you need it.

A simple re-set if you have power to the board is to push all 4 direction buttons at the same time.

There is also a Circuit Breaker. On my Daybreak, it is located in the engine compartment not too far from the pump unit. for my Daybreak it is on the passenger side firewall toward the bottom, it is black, and is a simple switch. That is worth trying as well.

On my Daybreak there is a 10 amp fuse on the line to the pump close by the pump. I had retracted my jacks so I thought but when I moved I could tell it was dragging the ground. There were no lights on the panel so thats when I went looking for a fuse. This may be the feed to the panel because when I replaced it I had lights back and was able to retract the jacks.

This 10 amp fuse is for the motor/pump. I am having problems right now with my levelers retracting the jacks in automatic mode. I have determined that I either have a voltage problem, or a motor problem. That fuse directly runs the pump/motor. My system is unable to generate enough pressure to tell the system that the jacks are retracted, even though they are (system needs 2093 lbs of pressure to set off the switch per Lippert). The pressure switch is what tells the controller to turn off the pump/motor, because mine system cannot generate the required pressure, the pump/motor continues to run, so I remove the fuse you mentioned, and it turns it off so I am able to drive.

That way I can raise the jacks and either go home and diagnose at my leisure or get to a repair facility.
