slideout is squeaking alot when it is in operation, so, I think it should get some maintenance...

what is the correct procedure for lubing the slide??

If the squeaking is from the rubber seals, then there is a special lubricant made for that. I just used a spray silicone when I had a slide. If the noise is from somewhere else which you will have to determine then you'll have to lubricate accordingly. Depending on how your slide operates, it could be gears or cables causing your squeaks. The seals should be lubed occasionally to keep them from drying out and getting brittle. Hope this helps. Good luck, John H....
