Well folks i am pleased with the mpg. 8.1 at 65 - 68 mph
and why does the engine temps run at 180 for an hour then climb to 209 then drop to 200 then back to 209 then down to 190-188?
it was only 80 or so outside ???

i am pizzzed to no end about the rear closet
somewhere along the 180 mile first leg the clothes rack bar decided to remove itself from the brackets, the ceiling bracket pulled out of the ceiling, i assume from using two small sheet metal screws and then the bar bent in half and all of our freshly ironed shirts and pants were piled up and wrinkled
i know we are rving who needs ironed clothes, well we do , sometimes we like to look cleaned up

we did do our part to kill a few million flying bugs
oh yeah we got caught in the massive rain last night, and i found out leaving today from my reletives place that we dont have positraction, one wheel dropped off in a garden and spinnnnnnnnnning began, luckliy i managed to back up and get back on the gravel

Hey, it's just like a shake down cruise. A time to find errors and fix things for the next cruise. You have to be glad they are somewhat minor issues. John H...

Minor stuff really. Could be that they overtightened the screws in the clothes bar. Just keep the list and get it to your dealer to fix.

Not sure about your engine temp. Our Cat C7 does nothing like that...

i replaced it all last night with a ventilated shelf bar and new brackets every 6"

i will say the wood in the ceiling was not made for fasteners, i know exactly why they pulled out, 1/4" luan wont hold much with two 1/8 screws

Working out the kinks is half the fun...ok, maybe a quarter of it.

what irritates me is the cost of this unit compared to the cost of the fiver we traded and subsequent fit and finish issues to be ironed out, our dealer is over 2 hrs away and i am now taking it to a rival dealer for service that is 45 minutes away. i understand stupid stuff like not put drawers on the glides and maybe a few loose screws, but holes in the sealing gaskets, wire looms with daylight, all because someone was lazy is not high on my favorites lists

but i do like the floorplan and how great she drives, i actually was very relaxed scooting down the highway.
next shakedown #2 is quickly approaching if the rain ever subsides
