Looking at a 2010 challenger 371. Can anyone with previous experiences with this one share their stories? Heard there is some trouble with sticky slides ? Can't say as I like a king bed that is only 76 inches long. thanx.

We looked at one it was our 2nd choice we paid $10000.00 more for the Newmar Canyon Star but I think it is worth it we also liked the Georgetown
The 371 we looked at was a new unit in the shop with the slides being worked on

We purchased a new 371 new last July and love it! No serious issues after 10,000 miles. It has a great floorplan and it a great value for the money!

Good luck with your choice!

Thanks Bronk, can anything be done about the length of the bed ? 76" is not enough for me, even if I am shrinking in my old age.

Unfortunately, the bed is right up against the slideout once it is in, so a longer bed would be too long and interrupt with the slide. Actually, I'm a little over 6' and the bed is fine for me, and with the increased width (king size), if I need more "head to toe" room, I simply position in a more "diagonal" position. Best of luck with whatever you decide, and if you should have additional questions concerning the coach, feel free to ask.

Odd that the Challenger uses a short King when our Daybreak uses a full size 76x80 king. Ours is also on a slide and up against the wardrobe cabinets when the slide is in. Seems there is 4" missing somewhere.

The Challenger 371 also uses a 76"X80" king bed.

I'm Moe from SPANAWAY, Wa I have a 2011 Challenger 371 been in the shop for slide out issues (the big slide) leveling Jack issues and just other related issues. Brought in 09/10 sad to say haven't really enjoyed the good life because of one issue after another. Roof leaks after going through Redding Ca. 116 degrees temp engine proformed great coming out of Oregon 45-50 miles per hour up hill pulling my Honda Fit. Who out there has slideout issues (Oh yes cables breaking when bringing in the big slide) Very good looking unit.

I bought my 2009 Challenger 376 in January of 2010. Lots of simple problems that the dealer turned into major problems. However, once the manager at Camping World in Ft Myers took over the situation, everything was straightened out. The 376 has 2 slides and I have used them at least once a month since our purchase with absolutely no problems. We have a short queen which I refused the one that came with the coach. I purchased a really good mattress from a regular mattress manufacturer....like night and day. I left the dealership without a mattress and went directly to the factory to pick up the new one. It took a while getting use to the shortness, but you can adjust, especially if it is a comfortable and good mattress. I did notice that the faux leather furniture and driver passenger seats are soft and very comfortable, but they do tend to wear quickly. Already have two worn spots. Everything else really works great. I did make some changes...Put the 26" TV from the LR into the BR and installed a 37" LED in the LR. I think your 2010 371 comes with a 32" which is great. I had a Directv Traveler installed on the roof for HD reception on the 4 tv's that came with the unit, but had to purchase a vuqube for those times we are treed in. Probably should have gone with Dish and a ladder mounted vuqube which gives HD plus portability when treed in. Live and learn. Otherwise, I was very impressed with the way Damon (now Thor) handled all of the warranty work. No questions asked, I received a new TV, Microwave, ceiling vent fan, and rubber gaskets within days and Camping World installed all. Damon certainly did everything possible to make me a satisfied customer....too bad the dealer I purchased from missed the bar, but when Camping World took over, everything went well. Camping World is a Damon ( Thor) certified dealer. Any questions, feel free to contact me
