Here is some pics of my LCD install in my 2008 daybreak. It is nice to know there is only 16 pounds over my head now instead of 85 pounds.
It gives me a solid piece of mind. There is a pic of before also and after

The tv is a 26 inch dynex brand from best buy ...... i picked it because it fit within the existing frame and the speakers are on the front. It has a nice picture for the price and ok sound ............I did have to make the brackets to mount it but i feel it turned out pretty nice and looks like it was almost put in by the factory.

This is true it looks factory, real nice job.
I am picking up a 2002 Escaper this week, new to me. We are ordering all new furniture, sofas, dinette and captain chairs. The other project before hitting the road is replacing the televisions. I haven't watched a CRT television for sooooo long.

You did a really nice job. Replacing mine is on my list. So much to do, so little time to do it.

NO more loud noises squeaks rattles and banging from the over head cabinetry its like driving a New coach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess all that weight not up there anymore makes a huge difference even the wife couldn`t believe the difference and how nice and quiet it is..........

NOT having the tv overhead of the driver was one of the main reasons we bought our Daybreak. Funny that some 2008s vame with analog tube type tvs and some came with flat screens. Guess they changed mid year.

Great job! It is a shame, to see all that wasted space behind the set though.
I would like to hinge mine in some way to allow access behind the TV.

yes it is a waste !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but the improvment of no more noise from the other tv and cabinets is worth it........... It is a pleasure to drive now with no squeeks rattles and banging from the overhead even on rough roads

My main concern is being able to view at an angle. Most LCD tvs have a narrow angle of viewing. Too low or to the sides and the picture darkens.
Has this been an issue for you?
