New to the RV scene

My wife and I just bought a 97 Damon Day Break 2960. I have some questions about the switches on the dash. I know which one is for the generator and the auxiliaries starting.. the 3 others just have symbols. Move the switch nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated

How about posting a picture of the switches in question. That way people will have a better idea of what the symbols look like.

Welcome to the forum!
I can take some guesses as to what they are...
ICC-you hit this one to flash your lights as a courtesy to truckers when they have passed you.
SERVICE LIGHT-this turns a light on under your hood.
EMERGENCY START-you hold this down for a few seconds when you have to use the house batteries to start your engine because your engine battery is dead.
DASH FANS-ours had low and high plus the off on this one. I believe engine had to be on for this one to work.

You might find my blog helpful to you.
Again...welcome to the forum!
