"Night Shade" on Astoria wont Lower Past 12" with Ignition Off

Hello friends.
Last weekend we returned from a trip and when I was closing up the coach I lowered the night shade as I do every time and it stopped after about 12". I raised and lowered it a few times....no change. during our trip we lowered the shade each night and it worked just fine.

when it stops it isn't stopping as if it were binding, it stops like it hits a limit switch. I believe it may be the same as when your driving and you try to lower the shade and it stops at about 12" for safety.

Has anyone had an issue like this before? Suggestions??

Are they by chance MCD shades? If so it sounds like the limits need to be reset. Here's a link to their manual that describes the procedure. http://www.rvcruzin.com/mcd/Gen4_Manual.pdf Very easy to do, but make sure you follow it step by step.
