The engine block heater. When it is cold out, turn it on about an hour before starting your engine.

My 2001 Challenger has a switch to turn on the HW heater. The light is on only during heater lighting than goes off.

Engine Preheat Switch

Allows heating engine for better start at low temps.

2003 Intruder here, ... and I have the same question. Not sure why a block heater switch would be in the bedroom at the back wall.
Here is mine. When I get it figured out I will post up.

If its a Diesel Pusher the switch is directly over the Diesel Engine
