Well yesterday I bought a new 19" flat screen tv to install in the basement storage compartment. I have a 07 Astoria w/antenna jacks underneath. All excited to watch the NASCAR race today. When I connected the tv it said no signal even when I hit every button on the control switch box. In checking the wiring diagram, this outlet is connected to the rear tv. Tried to trace the cable and make sure everything was connected, which it was. Any ideas why this connection did not work. Also looked for a splitter on the cable to the rear tv. That I did not find also.

RR,

All of your outlets are "home runs" back to the stereo area where the "winegard" junction box is located. I'm assuming that the outside outlet did not get connected to a splitter behind that box after coming out of the box but before heading to the basement outlet. I would check behind the winegard box. Most likely where the problem is.

Well I now have a signal to the outside tv. There was no splitter installed on the cable to the rear tv. After installing a splitter, the tv works. Why couldn't Damnon have installed one at the factory????
