I'm experiencing a loud "creaking" sound over driver side window. I checked cabinets and window for loose screws. Has anyone experienced this? If so, what did you do to eliminate the noise?

What year is your Challenger? I have an 07 DayBreak and I get a creaking noise from the plastic trim rubbing on the TV.

It is 2008. I also get the TV squeak, but this over the driver window or the driver window itself.

Does it have a driver's door? I had a MH with a door never got rid of the noise. Other than that have you looked to see if the window frame is tight all the way around?

As for the TV squeek I am pulling the trim frame off from around the TV and I am shaving it with my pocket knife held at less than a 90 degree angle and scraping only where I need to. I then remount the frame and check to see if I can move a piece of paper from one side to the other.

Chuck, we have a 2008 Essence and it has a squeak at the drivers window. I have a hearing loss and there are certain frequencies I cannot hear, but Ms Carol doesn't miss any of them. Anyway, she kept complaining of the squeak and I kept moving and testing things for her - sunshade, night curtains, window and window locks, cabinet door above the window etc. I discovered it was the screen on the window one day when I had the window open and then closed it and repositioned the screen.
Ms C said that fixed it, but I never heard it at all.

I forgot to mention, the problem we are having now is a bumping noise coming from the around the door or step well. With the step well cover up it is pretty apparent - even with my poor hearing, I can hear this. With the step well cover down, it stops. Since Ms C can't drive the rig, I can't figure if it is from the door or the the cover itself.

Doc, you did remember to untie the dog from the step didn't you?

Not as far fetched as some might think. We were at a horse show and a friend forgot he had his dog tied to the back bumper of his pickup truck, and started to the store. He was stopped before any damage was done to the poor dog. Someone asked what was he doing and I told them he was taking his dog for a drag.

Dear Lord!! Shades of Chevy Chase and Vacation!
We don't have a dog, but several years ago before we sold out, I did have to tie a horse that was acting sort of mental to the truck bumper and slowly lead him back to the pasture.\
When stud horses get out, they really don't want to stay around home, and don't appreciate being taken away from any lady friends they may have found in the neighborhood.

I had the TV squeak and rattle. I removed the wood frame and put a strip of self adhesive felt along the bottom of the inside frame and got rid of the problem. I bought the felt from Home Depot. It comes in a roll and you just cut off the length you need. Works great!
