A while back I believe Chandler posted a note about painting the storage compartment latches.

Mine are looking pretty rough so today I took them off and painted them with flat black spray paint. Thjey look nice but I'm wodering if I should have used a different paint.

Hey Doc! I sanded mine so they were smooth, then painted them with Krylon satin finish. If I do more, I may prime them first. So far they still look great. I did try flat black but it didn't match the old ones.

You painted tehm flat black.. Is that the right paint?

Depends... I you wanted them to be high gloss blue, then no, it's not

If you wanted flat black, then yes it is.
