Thanks Hurricaner for reposting the other photos. Yesterday was not my day cause I know better than to use thumbnails.
Trying to stay ahead of Chandler with little projects but I think I am losing ground. When I get to feeling better I got a lot of things I want to do. Everbody take care...........Jim

Jim, I think everything looks great! Unfortunately for me, I have a drivers door.
My only projects this year are
1) Install CB antenna on drivers sidewall, bolted through the metal frame. Wire will be hidden behind side moulding.
2) Fabricate mount for Garmin. It will go on top of dash where I can see and touch it easily
That's it for now. I have everything else I could think of. Maybe after Christmas I'll have something else :-)
Hope you feel better soon!
Chandler

Jim, This is a little off topic, but is N5IIG an N number for something you fly? On topic, you can do whatever you want to make your MH personal and comfortable. This forum has given me ideas and tips, I would never have thought of. John H....

Hey John, I fly N1533D, it's red and white and has bumps in the cowling, too. It's just a little too big to take along with the Daybreak.<g>

Scottwig, Yeah the Kitfox in the avatar is, N611JH; the first plane I built, and the second one I built, I sold to get our first motorhome. I did trailer the first one though, but would have been a lot to haul behind a MH. I would assume you have been to Oshkosh, being from IL. We have done a lot of camping there.John H....

We've camped at OSH for about the last 30 years but always under the wing of an airplane. Next year we'll have the Daybreak AND the 195 up there. I think I'll stay in the MH and let the boys have the wing.<g>

Yeah, I hear you. We did one year in a tent, and it was the last. Went to pop up camper, to several Travel Trailers, to a 5th wheel, a Class C and now the Damon. Too old to be fighting elements. Have had some nasty weather up there in the past. Even planes blown over. John H....

Thanks Chandler for the compliments. I also was trying to come up with something for my GPS suction cup - too far to windshield. I had a piece of plexyglass lying around so I cut it to fit the upper corner of dash and secured it. It will be close to me for reading and pushing buttons and the suction cup holds real good on the plexyglass. I don't like to alter the Coach dash or structure if possible. I don't need a drivers door - too far to the ground. I don't bounce to well anymore.
John H the N5IIG is my Amateur Radio (HAM) call sign. I have been a ham operator for 22 years and have a radio in the coach that I use when on the road to stay in touch with friends all over. You are right about ideas - sometimes I just sit in it and try to find things to do or improve. Everyone travel safe.........Jim

Chandler, I have a Garmin c320 that came with a round plastic disc about the same size as a CD with self stick on one side. I put mine on the dash where I could reach it. The disc stays there and the Garmin comes out and can still be used elsewhere when I need it. I don't know how easy the disc will come off, if ever. John H...

Hi John! That sounds just what I need. I looked at Garmins site but didn't see that..You say it comes with the unit? My daughter is getting me the Garmin for Christmas. Don't know which one yet.

Chandler, I think Wal-Mart has a later model (c330) on sale for $168. They were about twice that price a year ago. Always coming out with newer things, making the older ones cheaper. Garmin are very good GPS units. Have also used them to fly with. Hope you get a good one from Santa. John H..

Chandler, My New C-340 came with one of the stick on disc but I was afraid to use it on the dash board or anywhere for that matter. like John H said I didn't know if it would come off or not without some damage. Beside the disc mine also had the suction mount, DC voltage cord and USB cord for computer. We have used the GPS in the wifes Sequoia and it works great - lot smarter than me. ........Jim

The disc comes with the Garmin to be used where you can't mount the suction cup to the windshield. The suction cup sticks to the disc instead. I think that if it had to be removed, it wouldn't be too hard to get off with a heat gun or high wattage hair dryer. Heat it up to soften the adhesive and slowly pick it off. If it won't, let for the next guy, while your useing your next new coach wondering where to mount that newer GPS. John H....
