I really didn't get lost just have been going a lot this summer. I installed a Pressure Pro system by Doran a while back for coach and toad (10 Sensors) and so far with a few short trips I have not had one problem with it. I also have not been active with my ham radios in the coach so the stray RF test will come in the next 2-3 weeks when I will be using them daily for a week or so. At this point I highly recommend this unit if anyone is thinking about it. Take care and safe travels..........Jim

Great feedback... Did you need the signal repeater to reach the signal in your toad? Also, do you have chrome/metal valve stems on all wheels? Just wondering since i had seen this as a recommendation. I too am considering this product.

I put a Pressure Pro in my rig last spring. I love it, but I do have problems staying connected to my toad sensors (40' back there). I just bought the repeator to mount in the bedroom which will 'hopefully' solve that problem. I found it for $74 instead of the $95 quoted by most PP dealers.

I too have a Pressure Pro system. I have had problems but the PP system has been the solution, not the problem (or at least part of the solution)

First time out I picked up a screw in one of the tires on the towed.. Before it got critical the Pressure Pro let me know, I aired it up and completed the trip, had the screw removed under warranty, no charge, no damage. While preparing for this trip... Same thing. IT has alerted me to other tire issues in between.

Someone else I know hooked up his towed, Pressure pro sitting in the box awaiting install inside his motor home, drove FIFTEEN miles, and had over 2,000 in secondary damage to his towed from the flat tire.

So, cost of Pressure pro - cost of tires I did not have to buy and damage to towed I did not have to fix =... Money in my pocket

DWM I have metal valve stems on all coach wheels and ruber on toad. I also have valve extenders on the duals on the coach - makes it alot easier to air up and or check pressures when needed. I was told by Doran that battery life is real close to 4 years on sensors and to unplug the display when parked and this allows the senors to go to sleep (sort of). After a period of time they quit transmitting. John-D this bit of info is mainly for you as a ham operator. If you have any dual-band rigs in coach tht tx on 440 be real careful transmitting with system up and running. The RF can interfere and or overload the Pressure Pro receiver. Also small weather stations or indoor/outdoor systems do transmit n 430 mhz which can also create a problem for the receiver. Being a ham operator I asked these questions of the tech at Doran. They don't know for sure but said to er on the side of caution. Sorry for being lengthy, but hopes this helps somebody. jdtimi I sure hope the repeater solves the distance problem for you. Take care all and travel safe.............Jim
