Replace carpet, 2000 Intruder.

I would like to replace the carpet with Pergo, Allure or vinyl.
Is there any problem with the slide rollers, adjustment, with the difference in thickness.
Would like to hear from anyone that has had this done .

I have the 01 Intruder 350. When we bought it used, it already had hard wood floors installed. We have had no problems with the slide out rolling on the wood. Although, it does leave permanent marks on the floor. Scratches where it rolls and indentations where it rides in closed position.

Installed laminate from Lowes on my 2000 Damon Intruder. Love it ,no problem with slides, although I do put down padding at rollers.

I have a 99 intruder, and want to do the floor upgrade also. On mine I have carpet, and a little section of wood in front of the kitchen. Did you have to do anything special getting the wood up, and was it in ok shape afterwards that you could put the new floor in without a new sub-floor?
