Awhile back I wrote about the bedroom slide on my 2007 Astoria being stuck out. After numerous phone calls from RV repair place, Damon factory and Lippert, they could not find anything wrong except low battery power?, as slide did work okay after being hooked up to electricity.
Since then we've have taken 2 trips and did not have a problem until yesterday when we got home, and needed the slide out to unpack.
Now of course it will not come in. It was hooked up to electricity at the time and battery power seemed high. We then started the generator and tried that to no avail.
NOw of course I live in the NE and have gotten a foot of snow with the slide out.
Took a broom today to get the snow off the slide out awning, but am frustrated with the whole thing.
Well, at least I should be glad it happened in my driveway and not when we were at the campground or worse yet at a Walmart!
Guess my husband will have to get the ole wrench out and get busy.
Just venting..thanks for listening.
