We have 2011 Damon Challenger 3710. The large slide (curbside) makes a "grinding" sound when initially beginning to move in the outward position. Once the slide starts, it sounds normally - smooth and quiet. It is just the initial movement that is noisy and for just a second or two. I downloaded the manual for this slide and nowhere does it address this situation. My question is, and this was not addressed in the manual, is how do I access the slide rollers, motor and cables for this model? Is part of the trim around the slide (inside) removed, and if where? Thanks for any information - this is beginning to really bug me.

Have no idea if your slide mech is similar to our 2008 Damon but if it has the cables at each end, it likely is.

The motor and cable adjustments are above the slide behind trim panels. Need to find out what is making the noise as it should not. Rollers are all on the bottom. Inside on the front edge of the slide, outside near the opening rolling along the bottom of the slide. If yours is different type, please disregard.
