on our chassis electric interface box in the fwd electric bay under the drivers window has the solar charge fuse installed and a red line leading in, does anyone know where the red feed goes, is it in the forward a/c plenum hiding out, which would make adding a panel real easy,

I added four panels to my Damon Essence. I ran the wires down the refrigerator vent then on to the right rear compartment where I placed my solar controller. Ran wires from the controller to the next door battery compartment to hook up the the batteries, then ran wires from the controller under the rv, following the wiring harness up to the right front up to the upper side compartment where I put the solar interface to control the controller and read solar input.
I do not know where the red line would go, but I would presume that it is just for a small solar panel to top off the batteries.

If you find you are pre-wired for Solar, be sure to find out the AWG (Wire Size) that was used in the pre-wire. In most instances you will find it maybe 12 AWG wire, depending on the number of panels you plan to use this wire size may not be sufficient which will cause Voltage Drops/losses. Most installers like to us 8 AWG or larger to prevent Voltage Drops/losses.

How hard was it to install the panels on the roof? And what would you expect to operate with the panels?

We've got lots of sun here in Florida and I'd like to take advantage of some of it...
