I decided to make a cover for our steps when we are parked and I also have a place to put my bit feet when watching TV. It was real easy to mount strips of 3/4 x 2" inside of steps with screws and cut a 3/4" piece of plywood to fit inside and cover with carpet. I put a small piece of rope on one side for pulling it up and storing. Hope this helps someone.

Here is another one for you Chandler if you didn't beat me to it.

Ok, you won't believe me but here I go.
A couple of years ago when we were in PA at a dog camp, we had left our two dogs in the camper while we went out to eat with the other people who run the camp with us. Ny dogs are extremely well behaved and are used to staying in the MH for a few hours, no problem. One of my dogs was born paralyzed in the rear end but could walk on her front legs (balancing) The one thing she couldn't do was stairs.
We arrived back at the camper and when I opened the door, Lucy fell out. Apparently she either fell or climbed down and could get back up. She was there for God knows how long. When we got home, I made a piece to fit over the hole and covered it with similar carpeting. Looks a lot like yours. So, long story, I do have one but I had to make it for a different reason!
Nicely done, by the way!

Chandler
