How can I get the house stereo (pioneer rec) to play while I am in motion? As it is now, once I start the vehicle the house unit cuts off on the front speakers and it kicks it to the dash unit as an override.

Anyone know about switch/removal of a part to allow for separate utilization? Just like to be able to have the DVD audio playing while driving possibly and thru all 5 speakers (center included)

Our '06 daybreak has two outlets in the compartment that holds the DVD player. One of them is switched with the ignition and the other is not. All I had to do was move the power plug to the other outlet.

While I don't have a house stereo unit, My outlets are configured the way Scott has outlined. That may be one option for you.

Nah, I don't loose power to the unit nor is it quitting on me when motor is cranked, just some of the speakers shut off.

I did find a odd metal base of connectors near a 12v car audio amp on the area of the internal firewall next to the parking brake. Has several plugs going into it and also some RCA connectors for something. Of course this is a tight area with the seat/wheel/pedals so I can't get in there real good.

But while down there I found this 2-ch car stereo amp and figured it powered the system in the dash. I had it playing and unplugged it and nothing changed. So not sure what this thing is doing but it's a "Coustic" which is not high-end, but it's 120watt amp so not sure what it's running.

Anyone ever run across this, more specifically Intruder Owners?

Thanks guys for the replies above.

While it should be possible to disable the transfer relay by adding a simple switch WHY

I mean the house radio does AM/FM/FMstereo and CD

The dash does AM/FM/FMstereo/CD and optionally aux-in, XM or Serius and more Depending on the dash radio you may be able to plug in a six CD changer (or a hundred cd juke box) a Mini-Disc or other external device, or even your computer

It would be so that the TV would play thru the speakers while travelling, that was my reason, sorry not to clairify further.

Coach has in-motion sat and daughter wanted her Disney Channel!! poor me.

I had to drive over to a custom car stereo audio shop and they fix me up with awesome surround sound from the radio and also the 3 tv's when camping and also driving Trac Vision R5 with dual LNB's new 2008 model 12 inch all black , driving down the road. We also have tv's all 3 running and that is also surround sound from the tv overhead 32 inch HD and also the bedroom 32 HD with surround sound. The 19 HD in the bathroom is not surround sound, my wife likes it now so that we don't miss a play on the sport games while she is in the bathroom. And I can be watching my SPEED channel or FOX cable news while driving.
