swingout door still giving problems

The front swingout door on the passenger basement access is loose again. I tightened it up before the last trip to Virginia and it is once again loose. Problem is, it is nearly a hundred miles to the dealer in SC.
I believe this was a poor design from the start. Saw a Coachmen MH a couple of years ago at Perry, Georgia National Fairgrounds with a loose hinge (same design) and said then this was a poor design. What did I do? Few years later I bought this Damon with the same feature.
Will tighten it again and maybe add a couple of drops of LocTite. If that don't fix it, then I guess it is off to SC for a dealer look-see.

Don't buy another coach with this type of door - however easy it is to enter with slides out.
