Don't know which of you authority types made the change for me from Winnebago forum to the damon forum, but thanks. Winnebago makes a wonderful product. We loved the Itasca and had some wonderful trips and a great time with it. Just got to the point we wanted more room and I wanted full paint. Search lasted a long time until we happened into a dealer's lot in SC just off I-85. Ms Carol walked in and saw the floor plan and announced, 'this is it'.
The Essence is a new model and I hope we have not made a mistake. Right now it is taking some time to learn the systems and how things work, but I believe we have a winner.
I do know the cabinets and joinery in this coach are nicer than the Horizon.
We'll have questions so I thank you guys in advance.

Thats one sweet looking rig.Welcome to the Thor side of life. My wife is haunting me to look at the challenger 377(workhorse) down at a dealer nearby. I agreed with her that the floorplan is one of the best we have seen. Good Luck.

Welcome to the Damon world. I hope you do enjoy you new coach. We also had an Itasca in 2002. It was the Sunrise model and we enjoyed it but out grew it.
