We just traded in our Tracker Toad on a new 2011 Jeep Liberty Star and won't be able to use it as a toad. Tracker was just a little over 3000# and the Jeep is over 4000#. Our tow capacity is only 3500#. Not sure what we'll do yet. Does anyone rent a car when they get to destination? If so, does it work out for you. If we sell the MH, the next one will tow 5000#.

I believe your hitch is rated for 5,000 the 3500 is the limit on the GCWR of the chassis you should still be able to tow the jeep if you can tow it 4 down with brakes

We drove across the country and rented a car through Enterprise in many cities. They gave us great service by picking us up at the camp ground and dropping us back off. Renting did seem a little expensive. BTW, Pulling or not the mileage remained about the same. We normally do have our toad behind us.

Thanks Steve, I have used Enterprise before, they are very helpful. A bit more expensive, but great service.
