We are off to Florida leaving after work on 2/27. I can't wait. We will be parking at my sisters place in Deland. They have a travel trailer and when they built their new house they included power hookups and dump station. Also for my parents to visit in their MH.

They have 5 acres on the end of a dead end street and it is more private than any campground. Not paying for the campground allows us to take the MH and still be quite affordable.

Now of course I want to start packing but here in Mass we are getting a winter storm tonight and I am praying thay the weather will be good for when we leave. Last year at this time we left a day early to beat a winter storm. Already getting clothes together. Now if we only win the lottery so we don't have to come back........

4gone, hopefully the weather will be descent enough at that time to get you on the road and headed south. Have a good trip and remember us poor folk who have to remain in this northern part of the country when you get down there. Always envious, John H....

4gone....have a great trip.
What a nice way to be able to visit with your family, still have your own space, and use your MH!
My SIL is moving to Indiana, and they bought a place with a big enough seperate drive for 2 MH's. Theirs and ours...so I know we'll get to do same soon.
I don't know if we'll be lucky enough to have a dump station tho. My BIL installed one when they lived in Virginia, but I'm not sure if he'll do it in Ind.

I think the weather will be good when you leave on the 27th.
Just take your time driving, and enjoy!
Safe trip,
Sue

I could sure use some good weather!! The packing/prepping has begun. Made up the beds last night got some of the basic food supplies in boxes ready to go and the bathing suit fits.

4gone, I guess at this point when going to the sunny south, the most important thing is that the "bathing suit fits". I always enjoy the prep and packing, it's the unpacking on the return I don't like. John H....
