Triton chassis sway bar install

Recently I was told about the benefits of installing a after market sway bar to the rear of my outlaw. This model has the loft bed above the garage so it's rather tall and the sway can be significant at times.

Looking at the Roadmaster site I found that kit 1139-143 is what I'd need and this install retains the factory sway bar as well.

What I'd really like to see are photos of this kit installed as well as hear more input as to the true benefits of the addition.

Further reading on this subject shows that Roadmaster does indeed have a 1 1/2 add on sway bar for the 20k and 22k F-53 chassis. Its a bit expensive for a sway bar at $800

I also found Helwig makes a similar kit with a 1 5/8 bar. A bit cheaper at $520 but still quite high for a sway bar

Would like to hear real world experiences with these products before spending that kind of $$.

I was talking to a guy that owns an Outlaw like mine and he's the one that told me about it and the benefits. I've been trying to get him to send me photos of the install but....

According to him it made a huge difference in sway as well as on the highway with trucks passing. But, you're right, a lot of cash so it would really need to be a significant increase in handling.
