Tuscany elect. Propane shut off valve

I have a 2007 Damon Tuscany 4074. The other day after moving to a different location I encountered a problem with the electronic on/off propane switch. Everything was working fine before the move and after moving I could hear the flame burning on the fridge unit while hooking back up. Later in the evening when we were starting to prepare supper, the stove wouldn't light. When I checked the unit above the door there was no green light to indicate that the valve was open. Tried toggeling the switch numerous times, to no avail. My propane gas gage indicates that the tank is half full, as it should be since our fuel usage has been very minimal since we returned from the "cold" south. I checked the main fuse box and everything is ok there.
Anyone have some trouble shooting suggestions??

mine periodically sticks or fails to make the click sound as it closes or opens, usually cycling the switch a few times will clear it.

you can slide up under or open the access door in the fwd center basement and check eh wires for connections and power as someone cycles the switch inside

the set up is far from complicated, a wire could be loose or corroded off

I'm with powerboatr.
Also check to make sure the switch in the wet bay on the left side was not inadvertantly flipped off.
If we turn the gas off for a few days between trips, it takes several tries for the water heater to light when we turn it back on. Same with the fridge. I usually turn the stove on for a couple of minutes and let it burn until all the air is purged from the lines.
This probably sounds goofy, but did you make sure you still have gas in the tank?

We have to use Doc's methodology after every storage period, but once gas line is purged of air all works fine. Nary a miss on this 30+ day trip.

Thanks for the suggestions!
It turns out that the water filter that I had installed in the wet bay was pressing against the propane switch and holding it in an open position. I had forgotten that there even was a propane switch there.
You saved me from a lot of cussin' and spitten'.
