I am writing this post because of some frustration and don't mean to butch and moan but rather as a poll. Am I having normal problems? Worst, better? compared to everyone else. I bought my 09 Tuscany on April 1 and so far have had it back to the shop 4 times, one of which for a month or so. Below is a list of problems I have had.

1. Facia board on cabinets seperated fro the frame and started rattling. Culprit = 1/4" screw holding it all together! Pretty whimpy.

2. Main sunscreen/privacy curtain assembly on right side starting hanging down. Culprit = 1/4" screw holding it up, pulled out. Again WHIMPY!

3. Previous post on here about TV's being full of static. Culprit = Poor connection at TV. Then had same issue with other TV's!!!!!

4. Windshield wiper nut almost fell off. Driver side wiper not fnctional. Found this out in a rain storm!

5. Washer hose not hooked up. No squirt squirt!

6. Two main slide outs not set right and not extending all the way. (3 trips to get this one right)

7. Molding on outside that met with Main Slide Out was too long and stopped the slide out from going in all the way. Once the molding was fixed and Slide went all the way in, Now the paint scheme stripes don't match!

8. Slots for locking mechanism on gas doors looked like they were cut with a hack saw! very trashy and caused one of the doors to be loose.

9. Sub Woofer not working.

10. Front side windows have pull down shades, unfortunately the window is curved and the shade is not so I have a 6" gap towards the bottom that people can see in. Did no one think this was a problem?

11. Faucet drain in bathroom would not would not close

12. Cargo bay doors are uneven and do not match.

13. Left rear jack kept dropping down - Culprit = Nut not tightened down on hydraulic hose!

14. Bathroom door wouldn't close because it was crooked! especially when slides were out.

15. Three cabinet doors were hanging crooked. Culprit = Didn't tighten the screws on the hinges.

16. Pullout counter in kitchen, the cut out again looked like someone took a hacksaw to it, jagged and crooked.

17. Main entry door squeaks when traveling. Not adjusted properly.

Several more just can't remember them.

Again, I am not trying to bitch and moan. Most of the above problems have been fixed or are in the process of being fixed (hopefully) and the service department has been great and the tech is top notch.

I do expect some issues but it seems like every time I take the bus out more things fall apart and I am just trying to get a feel for where my problems (quantity and quality of work) compare to others.

i am thankful that there have been no major problems so far. Just frustrated for so much money for a seemingly nice coach.

we are on trip number 3 to get the dash unit dvd/radio/screwball thing replaced.

this past trip of 1800 miles the kitchen slide decided to start touching the floor when its closed, so it left a big huge scrape on the tile, should have put a roller under the sink. i will tomorrow
plus three slide seals tore and have departed the coach
my entry door i ended up adjusting it and applying new seals to soften the road noise
but we did get 8.09 mpg at 65 climbing and descending the Colorado mountains

I bought a new coach in May. It's been into the dealer for repairs a half a dozen times. Mostly it's because when the dealer fixes something, it's either not fixed or breaks something else.

Make sure your problems are not with the dealer.

Probably not as unusual as we would all hope for the money spent. Does seem to be a lot of seemingly short fastners. Best of luck getting everything taken care of and enjoy your motorhome.

I guess on the positive note, I am not alone. Negative side, it still sucks.:( I too have the similar marks but mine are on the passenger main slide out. Leaves a black scuff which will rub off. And now that you mention it, I did see one of the slide gaskets torn at the top. Will have to keep an eye on it. I wonder if other manufacturers have the same issues i.e.Tiffin Phaeton, it was a runner up to this one.

Thursday i plan on hog tying my service writer so he can order new ones and i will replace em as they fall off,
OR
go buy a better rubber and redo them all this winter while we are home base
the flapper seals are nothing more than 1/8 thick by 3" flat rubber, i was thinking getting some silicone strips to replace them with little pricey but would last longer.
