Hi all,
Took delivery of my 08 Tuscany in Sept. Went to the gulf coast and the weather turned cold. Had to use the heater for the first time. Seemed to warm things up OK. Except that the bath room was like a hot box. Is this normal?
Thanks,
Ron

Danorske, Not sure if it's normal, but to cut down on the velocity of air coming out of the bathroom duct, I cut a round piece of aluminum to fit in the round outlet. You cut a smaller diameter hole in the aluminum to decrease the amount of air that's allowed to come out of the duct. This is assuming you have the round air duct. The aluminum will look like a giant washer. Hope you understand what I'm trying to describe and are able to fix it. You could also use something easier to work with, such as thin plastic that is used for coffee can lids or something similar. John H....

Thanks for the suggestion John. Yes I have the round vent. I'll give it a try.

I don't have the round duct, but the concept is the same. My register is on the floor, and right across from the heater. The bathroom is small, and that register is like the second most powerful because of the proximity to the heater itself. We completely block off the register to the bathroom. enough heat gets into the room through the bottom of the door (Like a 2 inch gap).

Works for us.

Yes, our bathroom is a hot box too. We usually leave one door cracked open to disperse the air or place a cover over 2/3 of the vent to force the the hot air throughout the rest of the coach. It gets that way because it is a small space and has it's own vent.

We don't have the same problem in our coach. But our heater is about 15 feet away in the mid coach area.

But we don't use the heater that much. We use ceramic heaters wen it gets cold out...
