2008 Tuscany 4076. Leak in heavy rain while parked. Coming
thru light socket in ceiling above sink. No visible holes in roof,
or noticeable cracks, defects in existing caulk. I was parked a
little low in the front, and a little low on the right side.
Absent any input, I'd have to re-caulk every opening on the
roof. Checked for intrusion at power vent, but found no sure
evidence, but am suspicious. Has anyone had any similar events ?

was wondering the same thing
and even then, trying to figure out looking at ours how the water would ever make it to the lights.
the cabinets would be wet...
so i would look at the upper corner on the slide and make sure the soft flipper seal is not twisted up allowing water to flow down inside past the primary seal

The leak is not in the slide, it is the ceiling of the coach, one of
the recessed lights in the ceiling. It's over the sink with the slide in
but would be over the floor otherwise, in line with the sink.
Water is coming in somewhere, and the first exit it finds is
the light housing. With the forward and right tilt, the entry would be
to the rear of the coach.
Any thoughts....
Thanks

If the Tuscany is set up like our Essence, then I would look closely at the power vent in the kitchen/dining area. With the vinyl ceiling, you could have more water up there and the light fixture just be where it is finding it's way out. Hope you find it, these things can be a PIA. Let us know what you find please, and if you can figure out what caused it.

x2 the roof fan, i would go up and open it up and check the gasket for signs of gaps and to make sure it closes all the way
in a blowing rain its very possible for the loose fitting lid to blow up enough to allow water to get in
i have max air vent covers over all my vents, just for that added security of wind
did it start leaking during the ;ast two severe rain events and wind ?
by your sig...your in Annapolis...didnt they get hit hard with lots O water and driving rain ?
these stock vent covers are not known for staying put in weird winds and hard rains.

Well we did get a lot of hard rain and wind, so I'll start with the roof fan.
And thanks for the heads up on the Max air vent cover.
I'll post my outcome, when I have the answer.

We have the "high flow" Maxair vents on our unit for extra rain protection and also in case of hail. I have seen normal OEM plastic vent covers destroyed by a hail storm. The material used on a Maxair vent will withstand a lot of hail impacts. Also, we had Fantastic fans for all vents on our previous coach and I intend to upgrade to a Fantastic fan for the bath area soon in this Tuscany.
