Tuscany Slide Seals

While looking over our 2008 Tuscany #4055 I noticed one of the slide seals has separated between where it attaches to the slide and the flap portion of the seal where it seals against the slide when it moves in or out when deployed or stowed. Can this be reattached with some type of strong rubber glue or will it need to be replaced? Advice from anyone out there with slide seal repair or replacement experience would be greatly appreciated.

I would just replace it, unless the slide needs to be removed to do so . . .

Maybe a picture? Because it's hard to visualize with what you're saying.

After researching slide seals topics some more, the seal I am talking about is called a wiper seal. It is attached to the wall opening of the coach and wipes along the slide as it deploys or stows. This seal is the one that is separated from the coach in some places.

Usually those use "trim lock" to hold onto a lip. Easily replaced.

I replaced all of mine about two years ago...I priced replacements from thor and was knocked out by the price
i priced some nice silicone ones but....i was in a hurry as we were leaving
sooooo
i went to lowes and purchased rubber garage door seal flappers about 2" by 8 feet
I cut the width down to give me just enough wiper action and still provide a barrier against driving rain.

since glue was no longer an option.. i used self tapping screws 1/2" in length and the plastic washers that came with the rubber seal and attached the new seal to the old mounting area.

i also at the same time added a bottom one the slides that are not flush to give me one more barrier against wind and buggggs
